Military Duty Leave for Employees in Missouri

Discrimination against any member of the organized militia or of the U.S. Armed Forces because of membership therein is prohibited.

No employer or officer or agent of any corporation, company or firm, or other person, may discharge any person from employment because of being a member of the organized militia of Missouri or hinder or prevent the employee from performing any militia service he or she is called upon to perform by proper authority or dissuade any person from enlistment in the organized militia by threat or injury in respect to the person's employment, trade or business, in case of enlistment.

Reemployment. Members of Missouri's military forces who are ordered to active state duty by the governor, upon being relieved from such duty, are entitled to the same reemployment rights provided by federal and state law.
