Employee Voting Leave in Wyoming

In Wyoming, at the employer's convenience, the employee may be absent between the opening and closing of polls to vote.

Paid time off rules. Time off to vote is time off without deduction from pay, provided the employee casts a vote.

Amount of time off allowed. An employee is allowed to take up to one hour, outside of the employee's meal time, to vote.

Employer Penalty for Violation. Fine up to $1,000 and/or county jail up to 6 months.
